Globe and Mail has big plans for new digs
Times are tough for newspapers, right? Not so for the Globe and Mail, it seems.
Canada’s national newspaper has plans for a palatial new building in Toronto that would be the envy of any corporate entity.
. . . the building will interact with the public through a media wall, Spanish steps, and an interior glass-shelled high-tech theatre for nearly 300 people that will be wired for things like TED talks, and which will be available for outside groups.
Also possible is a projection wall on the east face of the 18-storey tower. No word on what exactly would be projected — headlines? videos?
