Correct spelling will always count
Anne Trubek, an associate professor at Oberlin College, has written an article for Wired saying we shouldn’t be bothered about correct spelling. She gives a raft of reasons, all of which are lame — mainly to do with the age of the Internet, blah, blah.
Sheesh. Correct spelling creates a level of trust between a writer and readers. If a writer can’t take the time to look a word up in the dictionary, why should we trust the actual content?
